Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OutPaged website, iOS application, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Description of Service

OutPaged is an augmented reality reading platform that transforms books into immersive, interactive experiences. The Service includes:

  • The OutPaged iOS application, which enables users to experience AR-enhanced content linked to published books.
  • The OutPaged website, which provides information about the platform, a web store for browsing and purchasing content, and account management features.
  • Related tools and features that support the discovery, purchase, and experience of AR-enhanced reading content.

User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Intellectual Property

All content available through the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, AR assets, software, and the underlying technology, is the property of OutPaged Inc. or its content partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Publisher and author content made available through the platform remains the property of the respective rights holders. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder.

Content Licensing

When you purchase or access AR-enhanced content through the Service, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view and interact with that content for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not transfer ownership of the content to you. AR experiences are licensed on a per-title basis and are tied to your OutPaged account. You may not share, redistribute, record for commercial purposes, or sublicense any AR content obtained through the Service.

User Conduct

You agree to use the Service in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or related systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service or the servers and networks connected to it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service or its underlying technology.
  • Upload or transmit any content that is offensive, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service without prior authorization.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content or features of the Service.

Payment and Refunds

Certain content and features may require payment. All purchases made through the Service are processed through Apple's App Store or our designated payment processors. Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and may be subject to taxes. Refund requests for in-app purchases are handled according to Apple's refund policies. For purchases made through the OutPaged web store, refund requests should be directed to our support team. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, though changes will not affect previously completed purchases.

Disclaimers and Limitations

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. OutPaged does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OutPaged disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall OutPaged Inc., its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to OutPaged in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms, is harmful to other users or the Service, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ventura County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time by posting the updated terms on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made. Your continued use of the Service after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
